This vibrant 1970s white printed jersey two piece with leather trim detail is by Ann Buck, a designer notable for her work in combining these two fabrics with exciting and desirable results. This lovely ensemble comprises of a straight cut jersey dress with a lively blue, green and yellow abstract print and matching ¾ sleeve jacket. The plunging décolletage neckline of the dress is trimmed with soft yellow hole punched leather and there is a colourful tasselled drawstring that can be tied at the centre over the bust. and leather shoulder straps in contrasting green and blue which are secured over the neckline with popper fastenings both on the front and reverse of the dress. The waistline is drawn in with a matching yellow leather tie belt which features pretty leather tassels in green and blue. The loose fitting jacket is gathered with some stitched pleating at the reverse of the neck and can be fastened to the left of the round collar with a tie so that it falls open over the left breast. This lively and stylish set is in wonderful vintage condition and due to its loose fitting cut could potentially suit a variety of sizes. We recommend the ensembe would best suit up to a US size 6-8, UK size 10-12. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft and 11in. (180cm) and this dress was a good fit on her.
